It was my b-day present when I was a few days shy of 16. Lied to get out of the house. Got busted when I got home - couldn't have been from being drunk on my butt! lol!

After getting off grounding, went to many, many, more concerts. Several in Tiffin, St. John's Hollow - cant' remember the groups. World Series of Rock - three different ones in Cleveland, Journey many times at the Sports Arena in Toledo. Ted Nugent, AC/DC, had tickets for Led Zepplin when the plane crashed...dummy me turned the tickets back in for the cash...what was I thinking? Foreigner, Aerosmith, This Lizzy, the Scorpions, Peter Frampton, Blue Oyster Cult, Foghat, Blackfoot, Def Lepard, Yanni, Stevie Nicks (Ken's first concert), Alan Jackson, Pattie Labelle, Fereintte and , Cleveland Pops Orchestra, Ferrante & Teicher, and Doc Severnsen. I'm sure there are more but can't recall right now.

leisa n i used to ride our bikes down to the bridge then smoke there. or out by the lilac tree. mom almost caught us once there...wind was blowing in the wrong direction.

yeah i remember that weekend... i dont think my mom ever knew i smoked... but then a pack of cigs lasted me a whole week... lol don't remember who tried to burn the barn down.... that was one place i never went... who knew when dad would walk in... lol

a pack was too hard to get. had to convince someone to buy then @ the moose or eagles when their parent's went or get someone older or talk whoever was running the gas station in town to sell us some. was cheap then too. quit when they reached $1.75. saved my money for a year and took the kids on their first real vacation!

wasn't too hard for me.... was driving to Vangard everyday so would make a side trip... don't ever remember anyone asking me for ID.... even when i would buy beer wasn't asked for ID... sad part is... i stopped after high school then picked it up again about 4 years ago... on and off again... grrrrrrrrr.....

the only time i got id'd was for wine and that was when i turned 18. had been buying it at the same store since i'd been 16. turned 18 and got carded...talked my out of it and got the wine but was funny!

couldn't talk my way out of the apple cider gallon in the top closet though. mom found it and thought i was making wine...tried...it just turned into vinegar. i didn't know much then about making wine...lol...grounded...again...for the rest of the summer. by the time she'd found it, i'd forgotten about it! lol!
